Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test” or CSEET is an entrance exam conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) for admission into the CS Executive Programme. The CSEET exam is designed to test the aptitude and proficiency of candidates in four subjects: Business Communication, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, Economic and Business Environment, and Current Affairs.
The Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) is a mandatory entrance test for admission to the Company Secretary (CS) Executive Programme. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) introduced CSEET to replace the earlier CS Foundation Programme. The CSEET syllabus includes four papers – Business Communication, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, Economic and Business Environment, and Current Affairs. The exam is conducted online and includes multiple-choice questions, audio and video clips, and essay writing. CSEET aims to test the students’ understanding and application of business communication and legal and economic concepts. Upon clearing the CSEET, students become eligible to enrol in the CS Executive Programme.
The eligibility criteria for the CS Foundation programme are as follows:
The candidate must have passed 10+2 or must have an admit card for 10+2 exam from a recognized board or university.
There is a 55% requirement for appearing in CS Exam.
There is no age limit to apply for the CS Foundation programme.
The duration of the CSEET course is 3 months. The examination is heldfour times in a year in January, May, July and November, the registrationfor the exam must be done by one month prior to the exam date. The course duration includes a minimum of 3 months of study period afterregistration with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
