CS Professional Course

CS Professional is the third and final level of the Company Secretary (CS) course. It is a professional programme that provides in-depth knowledge and advanced skills required to perform the duties of a company secretary at the highest level. The course is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge in areas such as corporate governance, strategic management, financial management, and advanced company law. The CS Professional programme is intended to develop competent professionals who can handle complex corporate matters and play a strategic role in decision-making processes.

The CS Professional course is designed to provide advanced knowledge and skills in corporate governance, strategic management, and other related areas. The course consists of three modules: Module 1, Module 2, and Module 3. It is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical skills required to assume leadership positions in the corporate world. The course covers various topics such as corporate compliance management, financial management, corporate restructuring, and governance, among others.

CS Professional: Eligibility

To be eligible for the CS Professional program, a candidate must have cleared the CS Executive program conducted by The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). In addition to this, candidates must have completed 15 months of practical training or undergone a specialized training program approved by the ICSI. 

Candidates who have completed the final examination of ICWAI (Institute of Cost Accountants of India) or ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) are also eligible for the CS Professional program.

CS Professional: Duration

The duration of the CS Professional program is approximately 10-12 months, divided into three modules. Each module is conducted twice a year, in June and December.

CS Professional Registration, Exam & Important Dates 2023-2024

CS Professional exams are conducted twice a year in June and December. The registration process for the exams is online and can be completed on the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) website. The exams are held over several days and the exact dates are announced on the ICSI website. Candidates can check here for the dates, such as the release of the exam results and the deadline for submitting exam forms, and other important dates.

CS Professional Subjects & Marks 2023
